This is a forced-air cooled, 5000-watt plate dissipation, ceramic-metial tetrode. When a pair is employed, they will provide 17.5 kW of AF of RF power with zero driving power. This tube is especially well suited for use as an oscillator, amplifier, or modulator at frequencies up to and including 110 MHz. Its excellent characteristics provide outstanding performance in a linear single-sideband amplified Class AB1 AF amplifier, or as a screen-modulated RF amplifier.
